Mortgage Lending Platform

- Primary backend owner since Apr 2025, responsible for all new backend features and production maintenance across 4-5 role-specific portals and 4 services. The platform spans 42 database tables, 250+ API endpoints, and ~10k daily requests.
- Reduced core pipeline latency from 3-10s to <700ms through SQL and join optimization, cut Encompass pull sync from ~1 min to <10s, and push sync from ~3 min to <1 min through bulk retrieval and SQL and API-call optimization.
- Extended bidirectional Encompass and ICE Mortgage synchronization for disclosures, e-consent, signing metadata, scheduled pulls around repeated loan lock and unlock events, and retry logic for signed-document uploads.
- Built Dropbox Sign workflows covering signing-request creation, PDF and template parsing, dynamic signer and field mapping, completion webhooks, multi-signer status tracking, and syncing signed documents back to Encompass.
- Integrated Optimal Blue credit-pull and fee-management workflows, including an embedded provider UI within the loan-officer portal.
- Designed communication and event services using isolated storage with type and ID soft references across domain entities, per-message authorization, and queued and batched email and SMS delivery.
